In civil and industrial plants, different scale types may readily form over time in descaling water systems and moulds. Inhibiting water flow and acting as an extremely effective insulator, scale reduces the efficiency of heat transfer while raising operating expenses and downtime. Pumps mounted on scale breaker tanks are made especially for chemical cleaning and descaling heating plants, heat exchangers, and cooling systems.
The deposits are chemically removed by flushing with suitable acid solutions, restoring system operation to normal levels. There are no metal pieces in touch with the chemical liquids being pumped.
In medium-sized or large industrial systems (heat exchangers, refrigeration systems, air conditioning systems, boilers, evaporators, cooling circuits, presses, moulding machines, etc.), PP and PVDF medium and large descaling pumps are designed to remove scale, sediment, and obstructions of various types (metal oxides, rust, sludge, algae, limescale, etc.). Over time, these residues accumulate, obstructing channels and reducing the heat exchange and flow rate of the machinery. Any scale accumulation is removed, and the circuits are cleared by numatic PP and PVDF pumps.
