Air Operated Double Diaphragm Pumps, which are powered by compressed air, work by shifting the air supply from one liquid chamber to the other via two diaphragms. As one diaphragm fills with air, it drives fluid out of one chamber and into the discharge pipe while simultaneously filling the second chamber. When the diaphragm stroke reaches its finish, it automatically reverses, and the cycle is repeated in the other direction.
