SS Sealless Pumps in India

1) What is a sealless pump?
2) How are they different from traditional sealed pumps?
We’ve created this easy-to-understand guide to help you learn about these innovative fluid handling devices…
A sealless pump is like a regular centrifugal pump but without packed glands or mechanical seals. Instead of a dynamic seal, there’s a static containment shell that creates a fully sealed liquid end or pressure boundary.
In sealless pumps, the motor’s shaft connects to an outer magnet carrier. A containment shroud is attached to the other part of the pump, with another shaft inside that is separate from the motor’s shaft. This inner shaft connects to the impeller, and it has another magnet within the shroud. As the outer magnet turns within the carrier, its magnetic forces pass through the containment shell to spin the inner magnet, which rotates the impeller shaft.

We are manufacturers, suppliers, wholesalers, and exporters of sealless pumps, also known as magnetic drive pumps. We cover the entire Indian market from Mumbai to Kolkata, and Chennai to Delhi.

Sealless Pumps

Sealless pumps are designed to work without a mechanical shaft seal, preventing leaks of hazardous or expensive fluids. They use magnetic coupling or canned motor technology for safe and efficient operation.

Main Types of Sealless Pumps

  • Magnetic Drive Pumps (Mag Drive Pumps)

These pumps use magnetic coupling between the motor and impeller, ensuring no leaks and requiring little maintenance.

  • Canned Motor Pumps

In these pumps, the motor and pump are combined in one sealed unit for maximum safety in critical applications.

Stainless Steel (SS) sealless pumps are a major step forward in fluid handling technology, engineered to overcome the primary failure point of traditional pumping systems – the mechanical seal. These pumps are either a magnetic drive (mag-drive) or canned motor design, completely separating the pumped fluid from the external environment inside a hermetically sealed containment shell. These hoses are constructed of high quality stainless steel (such as SS316 or SS316L) and provide excellent corrosion resistance, structural integrity and temperature tolerance for moving volatile, toxic, flammable or high purity liquids. SS sealless pumps provide maximum environmental safety, personnel protection, product contamination prevention and dramatic reduction of maintenance downtime and lifetime operational costs in demanding chemical, pharmaceutical and industrial processing applications since there are no dynamic seals to wear out or leak.
