PP Magnetic Drive Pumps are Sealless Pumps. In a standard centrifugal pump, the motor shaft is connected to the pump shaft via coupling, which rotates the impeller in the pump housing. This system requires a mechanical shaft seal to prevent the liquid from coming out of the pump housing from the shaft. In a magnetic drive sealless pump, the impeller does not have any connection with the motor shaft. The impeller is totally sealed inside the Pump housing. The drive shaft from the motor rotates an assembly of magnets on the outside of the housing. On the other side, the Impeller inside the Pump housing also has magnet rings that rotate inside the housing, this magnetic coupling mechanism helps to pump the liquid from the Pump.
